More Information:This gem of the National Trust is very close to Heathrow Airport. The John Adams designed home is spectacular, but the park and pleasure grounds are equal in their grandeur.
When I visited in October most of the flowers had passed their peak, but I was still able to experience the splendor of the gardens.
This painting received a Honorable Mention in the annual Jekyll Island Art Festival in March 2009.
